Joyce Divinyi, the author of Good Kids, Difficult Behavior has been selected by the American Society of Professional Education to partner with them in presenting her course on “Motivating the Unmotivated Student”.  Her training programs have won wide recognition throughout the academic and business world, and now one of her most popular educational training programs will be presented at four major ASPE events next month.  The course “Motivating the Unmotivated Student” will be presented as part of their Hands-On Continuing Education programs.

This program gives the teacher and counselor a wide range of practical strategies for motivating even the most unmotivated students. Using a simple model of the brain as it relates to the nature of motivation, this program gives you a unique way to stimulate interest and participation in classroom activities and academic requirements. It is ideal if you work with the student who “just doesn’t care”.

This course provides a multitude of motivational strategies that the classroom teacher can implement immediately, as well as a deeper understanding of how to get even the most “lost” students to work even when all else has failed.  The dates and locations are as follows:

Ms. Divinyi is a licensed professional counselor and a national certified counselor.  She has a private practice in individual and family therapy in Peachtree City, Georgia.  She has trained both parents and professionals working with children in a wide variety of settings from schools to juvenile courts throughout the United States.
