  SREB ~ High Schools That Work

Joyce Divinyi, Psychotherapist, Author and Lecturer from Peachtree City will be on one of the top presenters at this year’s 18^th Annual HSTW Staff Development Conference in Atlanta, July 6-9, 2004, with over 7,000 attendees expected.  Joyce has had an ongoing association with the Southern Regional Education Board (SREB) for years, and this year will be a key presenter at six educational sessions over two days. 

Ms Divinyi, the author of Good Kids, Difficult Behavior, and Discipline That Works: 5 Simple Steps, will present five of her top rated programs.  Joyce has developed and implemented a number of certified specialist programs that have gained national recognition.

Ms. Divinyi will be presenting the following programs:

• Motivating the Unmotivated
• Does Your Discipline Policy Work?  Assessing and Modifying Discipline Programs
• Dream Building: Empowering Students to Set and Achieve Goals
• Who is Paying Your Energy bill?
• Supervision and Support Strategies to Help the Struggling Teacher.

Ms. Divinyi is a licensed professional counselor and a national certified counselor.  She has a private practice in individual and family therapy in Peachtree City, Georgia.  She has trained both parents and professionals working with children in a wide variety of settings from schools to juvenile courts throughout the United States.
